Qualifications

• A recognized teaching qualification in English or a related field (e.g., BA in English or PGCE).
• Experience teaching English at the intermediate phase (Grades 6–8) within the South African education system.
• Strong understanding of the South African National Curriculum and assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the South African curriculum for English language and literature.
• Assess and evaluate student progress using formative and summative methods.
• Encourage student participation in class discussions, debates, and writing exercises.
