Placements24 is seeking an Energy Storage Solutions Engineer based in Mossel Bay to lead the design, integration, and deployment of battery energy storage systems (BESS).

You will collaborate with project developers, equipment suppliers, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution from concept to completion, driving grid stability and renewable energy integration in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on power systems or energy storage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and implementation of energy storage systems or power electronics.
• Experience with battery technologies (e.g., Lithium-ion) and energy management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer integrated energy storage systems, including battery selection, power conversion, and control strategies.
• Perform system-level analysis, including sizing, performance modeling, and grid interconnection studies.
