Job summary

NTCSA in Germiston, Gauteng, is recruiting a professional for long-term energy planning and related analytics. The role focuses on medium to long-term planning, economic evaluation of energy options, and ongoing research into planning methods within the electricity sector.

The successful candidate will have a BSc Eng./BEng and at least 4 years in power system planning, with knowledge of energy markets and related software. This is a permanent position located at Simmerpan, Germiston.

Qualifications

• BSc Eng./BEng in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Industrial Eng at NQF 8 with 480 Credits.
• 4 years' experience in power system planning and/or forecasting environment.
• Knowledge of electricity markets, energy economics and specialised computer programs.
