Placements24 is seeking a proactive Energy Efficiency Consultant based in Kimberley to advise businesses on reducing energy consumption and environmental impact. You will conduct energy audits, identify savings opportunities, and tailor solutions for diverse clients.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills to present ECMs, evaluate payback, and support implementation. You will stay current with energy modeling tools and best practices, helping clients achieve cost savings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or Environmental Science or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in energy efficiency consulting or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial processes, and energy-saving technologies.
• Experience with energy modeling software is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive energy audits of industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities.
• Analyze energy usage data and identify key areas for efficiency improvements.
• Develop and present detailed reports outlining recommended energy conservation measures (ECMs).
• Calculate the economic feasibility and payback periods for proposed efficiency projects.
• Assist clients in implementing ECMs and monitoring their performance.
• Stay current with emerging energy efficiency technologies and best practices.
