Placements24 is seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Consultant to join our team in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will evaluate energy consumption across facilities, develop practical strategies to reduce usage and costs, and work directly with clients to implement solutions.

The role requires on-site audits, strong data analysis, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. A hybrid work model is offered to balance office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Environmental Science.
• 3+ years of energy management, consulting, or auditing experience.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient technologies, building systems, and utility rate structures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with energy modeling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site energy audits and assessments of commercial and industrial facilities.
• Analyze energy usage data to identify inefficiencies and potential cost savings.
• Develop customized energy efficiency plans and recommendations for clients.
• Oversee the implementation of energy-saving measures and track their performance.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings, recommendations, and projected savings for clients.
• Educate clients on best practices for energy conservation and sustainable operations.
