Job summary

Au Pair Extraordinaire in Western Cape, Moullie Point area, seeks a female au pair to care for two children aged 3 and 5. The role runs Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 18:00, with one Saturday per month (14:00–19:00) and similar school holiday hours. Flexibility is required.

The ideal candidate is mature, energetic, reliable, with at least 12 months of childcare experience, own car, and valid SA ID. Start date is November for a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience within the last 2 years.
• Must own a reliable car and have at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record.
• Must have a passion for children.
• Must have Matric.
• Must have a South African ID document.

Responsibilities

• Assist with children's morning routines and prepare them for school.
• Transport children to extra-mural activities and run errands.
• Assist with and supervise homework and engage children in educational play.
• Bathing the children and preparing meals; prepare family dinner.
• Occasional babysitting, weekend work by arrangement, and travel with the family.
