Au Pair Extraordinaire invites applications for an au-pair to care for two girls aged 9 and 11 in Sandton. The role is Monday to Friday, 13:00–18:00, with school holiday flexibility. Start January 2027 on a permanent basis, with a monthly gross salary of R12 000 plus per-kilometre rates.

Duties include school collection, homework help, activities, meals, and daily progress updates to parents. Applicants should have at least 12 months of formal child-care experience, own car with 18 months

Qualificações

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience in the last 2 years.
• Own reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• At least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Clear criminal record.
• Passion for children and love of caring for kids.
• Matric is required and SA ID document.

Responsabilidades

• Collect from school and take to extra-murals.
• Assist with and supervise homework and engage in educational activities.
• Provide intellectually stimulating play and supervise bath time.
• Prepare light meals and snacks for the kids.
• Provide daily feedback to parents; occasional babysitting with notice and pay.

A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children

Area: Sandown

Children's Ages: Two girls aged 9 and 11

Working hours: Monday to Friday 13:00 - 18:00

Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, supervise bath time, prepare light meals and snacks for the kids, and provide feedback to the parents at the end of the day. occasional babysitting with prior notice and paid additionally.

Special Requirements: Ideally, we would like an au-pair that is over 24 years old. With her own safe car. We have two girls, so would prefer a female.

Start Date and contract term: January 2027 – permanent

Salary: R12 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
