Job summary

Cashbuild is seeking an End Controller (External Applications Only - SamNtuli) to ensure proper documentation for all stock movements and customer returns. The role focuses on recording transactions accurately, controlling stock exits, and maintaining security procedures.

The position also covers customer service in-store and adherence to Cashbuild's operational standards, including shift work and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 and 1 year or 2 years’ work related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language of the area.
• Must be literate.
• Must have strong numeric skills.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure no goods leave Cashbuild stores without the relevant documentation.
• Record correct and full information with date, time, sequence and signature.
• Record customer returns in End Controller book and obtain authorisation.
• Ensure backup employee is available for shifts and breaks.
• Sign End Control keys in/out daily.
• Keep exit/entry doors closed when not in use.
• Ensure loading/off-loading doors are closed when not in use.
• Report suspicious behaviour/vehicles to Management.
• Conduct random searches on employees when they leave the store.
• Provide fast, friendly, efficient service when checking in/out customers.
