Placements24 is seeking an Employment Law Advisor in Bloemfontein to guide the company on labor law compliance, advise management on hiring, discipline, terminations, and contract matters, and support a fair, productive workplace in the Free State.

The role requires a law degree with specialization in employment law, at least five years' advisory experience, deep knowledge of SA labor legislation and CCMA procedures, and strong communication and dispute-resolution skills.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent qualification with a strong focus on or specialization in employment law.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience advising on employment law matters.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation and CCMA procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and dispute resolution skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex legal provisions.
• Experience practicing in or knowledge of the Bloemfontein legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance on all matters of South African employment law, including the BCEA, LRA, and EEA.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
