Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science, Insurance, Business Science, Economics, Law or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification or relevant professional designation advantageous.
• FAIS compliance required, where applicable to the role.
• RE5 advantageous.
• Employee Benefits, group risk, insurance, risk management or related industry certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Market Development and Business Growth: Identify, develop and convert Employee Benefits growth opportunities across Guardrisk Life.
• Relationship Management: Act as relationship lead for selected strategic accounts and growth opportunities; build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and partners.
• Solution Development and Commercial Structuring: Participate in solution development and transaction structuring discussions; assist with benefit design and commercial modelling.
• Strategic Market Engagement: Develop and maintain an active presence within the Employee Benefits market; identify partnership opportunities.
• Portfolio and Client Growth: Review existing client portfolios to identify retention, growth and value-enhancement opportunities; coordinate strategic account reviews.
