Job summary

Guardrisk seeks a seasoned Portfolio Manager to lead the growth and management of a key client portfolio in South Africa. You will deepen client relationships, interpret financial and actuarial data, and ensure regulatory compliance across the portfolio.

The role requires FAIS/RE compliance, a tertiary qualification, and 5–7 years in a portfolio management capacity with leadership experience. Strong business acumen and cross-selling capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and FAIS/RE compliance.
• 5+ years in client services and insurance/financial services.
• 5-7 years in a Portfolio Manager role with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Cell captive insurance model experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing portfolio of clients and relationships.
• Analyse financial statements and actuarial data to support decisions.
• Oversee renewals and cross-sell Guardrisk products.
• Coordinate documentary and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop team, drive continuous improvement.
