Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking a dedicated emergency medical responder to attend to emergency calls and provide basic medical care in line with the scope of practice. This role focuses on rapid response, patient assessment, and coordination with EMS teams.

Requirements include Basic Ambulance Assistant Certificate, 6 months to 1 year road BLS experience, and knowledge of HPCSA guidelines; training during probation may be provided if needed. Fluency in English essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of emergency medical protocols and best practices.
• Understands EMS environment and patient care requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend emergency calls and provide basic medical care within scope of practice.
• Assist in maintaining readiness for emergency responses and uphold image of ER24 Mediclinic.
