Job summary

Netcare 911 in Pretoria seeks an Emergency Care Practitioner to support patient care during emergencies and routine duties. You will ensure proper documentation, hospital handovers, and adherence to safety standards within an ambulance or ED setting.

Role requires HPCSA registration, CPD compliance and flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, while maintaining compassion and professional care at all times.

Qualifications

• Current HPCSA registration as Emergency Care Practitioner with BTech/BEMC/BHSc.
• CPD updates required by HPCSA and relevant guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete all company and legal documentation for duty; file with Operations Manager.
• Ensure hospital records are completed for casualty/emergency patients.
• Accurately complete E-Patient Report Forms for every treated patient.
• Complete overtime and leave paperwork as required.
• Respond to emergencies per HPCSA protocols and provide Advanced Life Support when needed.
• Log calls with Netcare 911 Call Centre and obtain a Case Number.
• Maintain station cleanliness and stock control after every call.
• Attend CME training to maintain CPD compliance.
