You will perform essential administrative duties, ensure accurate documentation, and support quality improvement initiatives while adhering to HPCSA protocols and Netcare policies. This position requires prompt, professional action and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current HPCSA registration as Emergency Care Practitioner.
• HPCSA CPD/CPG updates.
• 4+ years post-graduate patient care experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Complete all company and legal documentation essential to duty; hand copies to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure hospital records are completed per internal requirements for casualty/emergency deliveries.
• Complete E-Patient Report Forms for every patient treated; complete overtime and leave paperwork.
• Log calls with Netcare 911 Call Centre and obtain a Case Number for each call.
• Maintain daily station cleanliness and stock control; replace items after calls if possible.
• Attend CME training to maintain CPD compliance and adhere to Netcare policies.

Education

HPCSA registration as Emergency Care Practitioner (BTech, BEMC, BHSc)

HPCSA updates (CPG)

4+ years post-graduate patient care experience
