Job summary

Netcare is seeking an Emergency Care professional to join our operations. You will be responsible for patient care, documentation and adherence to HPCSA guidelines while on duty, including vehicle and equipment upkeep.

Key duties include completing all required paperwork, logging calls with Netcare 911, maintaining station and equipment, and following safety protocols during patient transport and treatment.

Qualifications

• Current HPCSA registration as AEA and up-to-date HPCSA guidelines.
• Valid PDRP for passengers.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s license.
• At least 2 years post-graduate patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all company and legal documentation essential in the completion of duties and overtime/leave records.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock control of station, vehicles and equipment.
• Log calls with Netcare 911 and obtain Case Numbers for all incidents; ensure these appear on all PRF/EPRF pages.
• Adhere to all safety, HPCSA protocols and care standards during patient treatment and transport.
