Job summary

Netcare is seeking an Emergency Care Practitioner to enhance operational efficiencies, client liaison and service delivery within the Netcare 911 framework. You will support administrative tasks, maintain accurate patient documentation and assist with quality improvement and stock control as part of daily duties.

The role emphasizes responding to emergency calls promptly, maintaining safety and confidentiality, and adhering to HPCSA protocols while working under the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the HPCSA as an Emergency Care Practitioner (BTech/BEMC/BHSc).
• HPCSA CPD updates are required.
• ACLS, PALS and ATLS certifications are beneficial (not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative duties including documentation for duty and overtime.
• Ensure hospital records are completed per internal requirements for casualty/emergency patient delivery.
• Record and file paperwork for overtime and leave; hand copies to Operations Manager.
