Job summary

dLocal is seeking a Treasurer for the EMEA markets in Cape Town to oversee liquidity and forecasting across multiple currencies. You will collaborate with global Treasury, Operations, Product and Tech to optimize funding, automate processes and enforce controls in a fast-paced fintech environment.

The role focuses on ensuring sufficient liquidity, managing FX exposures and driving continuous improvements while enabling business growth across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience managing liquidity across currencies and jurisdictions.
• Experience supporting high-volume payment operations and cross-border payments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Experience in fintech or payments environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily liquidity positions and cash balances across currencies.
• Prepare daily cash flow forecasts for assigned markets.
• Support payouts and optimize global liquidity while minimizing risk.
• Execute merchant, vendor and intercompany settlements promptly.
• Perform treasury transactions using banking platforms and payment systems.
• Evidence SOX controls and treasury governance procedures.
• Monitor FX exposures and support FX execution across markets.
• Identify opportunities to automate treasury processes with data/AI.
• Drive continuous process improvements for efficiency, scalability and control.
• Support treasury-related systems implementations and integrations.
