Job summary

ENGIE Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Day-to-day Treasurer to support the Head of Treasury in managing cash operations. The role covers daily liquidity, short-term investments and cash forecasting within a large multinational energy group.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in treasury operations, strong risk and internal control knowledge, and excellent communication skills to engage across departments and with banking partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in treasury operations and cash management.
• In-depth knowledge of SARB approval and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash operations and short-term investments.
• Determine daily cash positions and 12-month cash forecast.
• Report on company liquidity and banking requirements (FICA, KYC).
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counterparties.
