Job summary

Mimecast Limited in Johannesburg is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst Graduate as part of the EMEA graduate intake. You will gain exposure to forecasting, pipeline hygiene, SFDC reporting, and weekly reporting cadences, while supporting the annual planning process from day one.

You’ll join a structured 90-day onboarding progression, work closely with Sales Ops teams, and develop a foundation for a career in Sales Operations and GTM roles within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
• Ability to manage multiple recurring tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
• Comfortable working with sales teams and managing ad hoc requests.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the team's Zendesk ticket queue, acting as first line of defence for queries raised by the whole EMEA sales team.
• Triage, respond to, and process incoming tickets in line with established territory rules and escalation frameworks.
• Execute account territory reassignments in Salesforce, ensuring accounts are correctly attributed to the right rep, team and region.
• Identify requests that fall outside standard territory rules and elevate to senior Sales Ops business partners for resolution.
• Monitor opportunities that have closed but where booking is not attributed to the correct quota-bearing rep.
• Run regular checks on closed deals to identify attribution errors and missing rep assignments.
• Own weekly pipeline hygiene monitoring across all EMEA territories and produce hygiene exception reports.
• Maintain and update SFDC dashboards; build ad hoc SFDC reports.
• Assist in the production and updating of the EMEA weekly sales report; shadow forecast meetings; support annual planning data preparation.
