Mimecast South Africa is seeking a Senior Commission Analyst to lead the calculation, validation, and maintenance of the sales compensation plan within the Sales Operations team in Johannesburg. You will work with Finance, GTM, and HR to administer commissions, build reporting with advanced Excel, and coordinate plan changes, with opportunities for incentive plans and comprehensive data analysis.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years total experience with at least 3 years in sales compensation or operational analytics.
• Strong Excel skills: advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with commissions systems; Xactly preferred.
• Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) preferred.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Deep knowledge of sales compensation administration, plan design, and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation; able to lead initiatives.

• Calculate and validate commission accruals and payments monthly.
• Maintain commissions system updates and configuration changes.
• Coordinate plan changes with sales management.
• Generate compensation plans for new hires and role changes.
• Build reporting for management and analysis of sales compensation.
• Maintain spiff management, role changes, and documentation.
• Support annual planning through commission expense trend analysis.
• Coordinate inquiries from stakeholders on various plan models.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
