The role requires a deep understanding of tennis strategy, biomechanics, and psychology, plus strong leadership and ethical coaching practices. PTR/USPTA certifications and a proven record of developing players to their highest potential are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience as a certified tennis coach.
• PTR/USPTA certifications preferred.
• Proven ability to develop winning strategies and guide players to their highest potential.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tennis training programs tailored to individual player needs and performance goals.
• Provide expert on-court coaching and technical instruction, focusing on stroke mechanics, strategy, and mental toughness.
• Oversee and mentor a team of assistant coaches, providing guidance on training methodologies and player management.
• Conduct player assessments, track progress, and communicate development plans to players and parents.
• Organize and manage participation in local, regional, and national tournaments.
• Contribute to the operational success of the facility and maintain a safe training environment in Tembisa.
