Placements24 in Paarl is seeking a passionate Tennis Coach specialized in Junior Development for a part-time role. You will design and deliver engaging training for young players, focusing on skill development, technique, and sportsmanship, across various ages and levels.

The ideal candidate has coaching experience with juniors, Tennis South Africa accreditation, strong communication, patience, and a commitment to nurturing local talent within the Western Cape tennis community.

Qualifications

Previous experience coaching tennis, with a focus on junior players.
Tennis SA coaching accreditation or equivalent certification.
Strong understanding of tennis techniques, rules, and player development pathways.
Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours (afternoons, evenings, weekends).

Responsibilities

Develop and implement structured tennis lesson plans for junior players of all levels.
Conduct individual and group coaching sessions focusing on stroke mechanics, strategy, and fitness.
Assess player progress and provide constructive feedback.
Promote a fun, safe, and positive learning environment for all participants.
Organize and supervise junior tournaments and inter-club matches.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding player development and club activities.
