Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cricket Coach to lead the premier cricket academy in Randburg, Gauteng. You will develop coaching programs, guide teams, and drive talent development across senior and development squads.

You will collaborate with fitness trainers and analysts to optimize performance, ensure safety, and maintain records of progress. The role requires evenings, weekends, and travel as needed, with a competitive salary and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive coaching experience at high levels with a track record of developing players and teams.
• Proficiency with CSA Level 3 or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of coaching methodologies, player development principles, and game strategy across formats.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and motivational abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead coaching programs for senior and development squads.
• Mentor coaching staff and maintain coaching philosophy.
• Identify, recruit, and develop talented cricketers.
• Conduct performance analysis and prepare game plans.
• Coordinate travel, camps, and match logistics.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with sports scientists and support staff.
• Promote discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain records of player progress and performance data.
• Represent the academy with players, parents, media and stakeholders.
