Job summary

James & Partners is seeking a confident Outbound Appointment Specialist for its Private Wealth client base in Cape Town. This telephone-based role focuses on proactive outreach, qualifying prospects and setting appointments for Private Wealth Managers.

You'll engage High-Net-Worth individuals, build rapport quickly and operate in a basic-plus-commission environment with a competitive base salary and commission for successful conversions. Strong communication and CRM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is a minimum requirement.
• At least three years’ experience in outbound sales, telesales, appointment setting, lead generation or a similar telephone-based new business role.
• A proven record of achieving and exceeding sales or appointment targets.
• The ability to demonstrate previous performance against measurable targets.
• Experience working within a basic-plus-commission remuneration structure.
• A strong track record of generating personal earnings through sales performance.
• A natural and engaging conversational approach, with the ability to listen and adapt instead of simply following a script.

Responsibilities

• Making proactive outbound calls to prospective clients.
• Identifying and generating new leads.
• Engaging and building rapport with High-Net-Worth individuals.
• Introducing the wealth management proposition and opening meaningful conversations.
• Identifying and qualifying genuine client opportunities.
• Securing qualified appointments for Private Wealth Managers.
• Generating quality opportunities with the potential to convert into new clients.
• Working consistently towards defined call, appointment and new business targets.
• Following up professionally and consistently with prospective clients.
• Managing leads and maintaining accurate records of conversations, follow-ups and appointments.
• Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date.
• Working closely with the wider team to support new business objectives.
