Xylem Water Solutions Magyarország Kft. seeks an Elite/Lead Field Service Technician to initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites, handling advanced wastewater equipment and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You will troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance, interfacing directly with customers across multiple locations. The role requires 5–7 years of technical experience in similar environments, with a preference for DAF wastewater experience.

Competenze

• Completed National Diploma in Water Care, Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of technical work experience in similar environment.
• Experience with DAF or related wastewater treatment equipment.
• Must have customer service experience in similar role.

Job Summary:

The Elite/Lead Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role works with more advanced and multi/complex systems, proactively troubleshoots systems, works with mechanical, electrical, diesel equipment conditions, conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and may be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers. This role is responsible for the escalation and leveraging appropriate company resources to address issues, both with personnel and customers.

Travel Requirements:

• Some travel required
• 20%-80% travel depending on division & location (overnight stays, away from home)

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Completed National Diploma in Water Care, Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of technical work experience in similar environment.
• Treatment solutions background preferred, especially experience supporting DAF or related wastewater treatment equipment.
• Ability to obtain all required customer clearances.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices.
• Must have customer service experience in similar role.

Skill Requirements:

• Electrical, mechanical, diesel, fusion experience depending on business unit
• Work without direct supervision and provides coaching/training to junior-level technicians
