Placements24 is seeking an Executive Catering Chef to lead culinary operations in Midrand, overseeing menu development, kitchen management, and event execution. You will ensure top quality, presentation, and service, while driving innovation and managing a dynamic kitchen team.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years in high-volume catering or fine dining, with at least 3 years in an Executive/Head Chef position, formal culinary training, and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management.

Responsabilités

• Develop innovative, appealing menus for events and clients.
• Oversee all kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, plating, and hygiene.
• Lead, train and mentor kitchen staff to achieve high performance.
• Source ingredients, manage suppliers, and negotiate pricing to optimize costs.
• Coordinate with event planners and service staff for seamless execution.
