Job summary

Otis Elevator Company in Gauteng is seeking a Mechanical Escalator Technician to maintain elevators and escalators, ensuring safety and reliability across your territory.

You will carry out service visits, manage units, respond to breakdowns, perform minor repairs, and build strong relationships with customers during on-site visits. The role offers modern tools, a company vehicle, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in the elevator industry or a relevant technical background.
• Knowledge in electricity or electrical engineering.
• A valid driver's license (if required locally).
• A strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and service visits across your assigned territory.

• Build strong relationships with customers during on-site visits.
