Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Repair Technician to join our workshop in Kimberley. You will diagnose, repair, and test a range of electronic devices, reading schematics and using test equipment to ensure performance meets specifications.

You will handle soldering/desoldering, maintain repair records, and collaborate with the engineering team to improve designs. A strong technical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this hands-on role

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electronics Repair Technician or in a similar repair role.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, circuitries, and diagnostic principles.
• Proficiency in soldering, desoldering, and using electronic testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Must be able to work efficiently in a workshop environment in Kimberley.
