Placements24 in Kimberley, Northern Cape is seeking an experienced Assembly Line Supervisor to oversee our electronics production line. You will lead a team, ensure targets and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement to meet tight production timelines.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on problem solving, and the ability to read technical diagrams. Based in Kimberley or willing to relocate, you will collaborate with quality, engineering and materials teams to optimise

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in electronics assembly
• 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong understanding of electronics assembly processes and QC measures
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to read assembly instructions and diagrams
• Willingness to work flexible hours in Kimberley

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily electronics assembly line activities.
• Ensure production targets for quantity and quality are met.
• Train, mentor and motivate assembly line workers.
• Monitor processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and report KPIs.
• Coordinate with QC, engineering and materials management.
• Manage resource and material allocation to the line.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, or personnel issues.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
