Qualifications

• N3 Qualification and ORHVS qualification.
• Registered 3 phase installation electrician (SANS 10142); not single-phase tester.
• 5+ years Electrical experience – AC & DC electrical systems.
• Proven MV & HV equipment troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance.
• Experience with HV Switching, Solar PV Plant & BESS.

Responsibilities

• Perform modification, troubleshooting, testing, repair, and maintenance of all plant electrical equipment and systems.
• Execute switching, isolation, safety testing, earthing, and LOTO activities per authorisation levels.
• Conduct OEM-specific preventative and corrective maintenance on BESS, PV systems, and related equipment.
• Maintain and monitor BESS systems; coordinate with maintenance contractors and adhere to contractual requirements.
• Interpret schematics, inspect for defects, implement corrective actions to ensure reliability.
• Complete safety documentation and ensure HSSE compliance.
• Capture and report maintenance on CMMS and support audits and SOP improvements.
