Job summary

Mediclinic Medforum in Arcadia, Pretoria, seeks a qualified electrician to provide electrical services and perform maintenance, repairs and replacements on all relevant systems, infrastructure and equipment in the locality. You will execute technical jobs, coordinate work by on-site contractors, maintain client relations, and uphold electrical regulations, OHS and ISO standards.

• Trade test certification: Electrical (3-phase) with Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase).
• Wireman's licence: (Installation Electrician 3-phase).
• Code B driver's licence with own reliable transport.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

NQF level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subjects: Mathematics, Science or Industrial Electronics, Electro-technology or equivalent.

Trade test certification: Electrical (3-phase) with Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase).

ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATION

Wireman's licence: (Installation Electrician 3-phase).

Code B driver's licence with own reliable transport.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

If registered Installation Electrician 3-phase: more than 5 years’ experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

More than 3 years’ of Mediclinic electrical experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Maintenance and repair of electrical systems
• Test equipment and devices
• Heating and air conditioning systems
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Electrical regulations and guides
• Alarm Panels, IT Networks & Communication Systems
• Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
• Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems
• Mentoring of technical team members
