Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer for a remote-first engagement. You will design, implement, and run test plans for electrical components and systems, aligning with strict quality requirements.

You will build automated test setups, analyze data, report on results, and collaborate with design teams to verify fixes. This role offers flexible scheduling and the ability to work from Centurion, Gauteng, or elsewhere in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical testing, validation, or quality assurance.
• Proven experience designing and implementing test plans for electronic circuits/systems.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and multimeters.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics principles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
