This hands-on role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, working closely with engineers to ensure reliability of critical infrastructure on-site.

The ideal candidate has a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, strong safety awareness, and proven trouble-shooting skills.

• Proven hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and identify root causes.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification (e.g., Wireman's license).
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar hands-on electrical role.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, components, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and understand complex electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, work at heights, and in confined spaces if required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Stellenbosch, Western Cape.
