About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join their operations in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal . This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems within industrial plant environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of all electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, control systems, and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical engineering, with experience in project management and troubleshooting complex systems. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, balancing on-site responsibilities with remote flexibility. You will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to support production goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for industrial plants, including power distribution, motor control, and automation.
• Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Manage electrical projects from conception through to completion, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.

Requirements
