Job summary

Together Staffing Group client in the mining sector seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join the Mpumalanga team on site. The role requires solid supervisory maintenance experience and a strong focus on electrical infrastructure and power systems.

The candidate should have a Matric, an Electrical Engineering Tech Test with N4, and a Planned Maintenance Management certificate to meet the minimum requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in mining or heavy industry maintenance.
• MV reticulation and switching (Power Reticulation).
• Capacitor banks and energy-saving initiatives.
• Diesel generator and back-up power supplies.
• Electrical fault-finding and protection.
• Electrical building maintenance standards.

Job description

One of our top clients within the mining sector are seeking highly experienced and skilled Electrical Superintendent to join their team based in Mpumalanga.

To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• Electrical Engineering Technical Trade Test with a N4 Engineering certificate
• Planned Maintenance Management certificate (NQF level 5).

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience as a team leader/ supervisor in mining or heavy industry maintenance environment in plant and fleet.
• Equipment specific experience / exposure:
  • MV Reticulation and Switching (Power Reticulation)
  • Capacitor Banks and other Energy-saving Initiatives
  • Diesel Generator and Back-Up Power Supplies
  • Electrical Fault-finding and Protection
  • Electrical building maintenance standards
