Job summary

Bright Placements is seeking an Electrical Draughtsman in Centurion to produce accurate electrical drawings and documentation for building services projects. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of electrical drafting experience and strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, with a solid grasp of electrical building services and SANS standards.

The role requires detail-oriented, independent work and the ability to meet deadlines while coordinating with multiple disciplines and project managers.

Qualifications

• Electrical draughting experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services and SANS standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings for reticulation, lighting, power and distribution boards.
• Produce and revise drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical and structural disciplines.
• Ensure drawings comply with SANS standards and municipal regulations.
• Assist engineers and project managers with documentation and revisions.
• Maintain drawing registers and issue drawings per project timelines.
• Travel to project sites within South Africa as required.
• Prepare as-built drawings and project documentation.
