Placements24 is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead end-to-end electrical projects in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks while coordinating with engineering, procurement and construction teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in industrial automation, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a PMP or similar certification. This on-site role offers growth and exposure to high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience focusing on electrical projects.
• Proven track record delivering complex industrial automation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of electrical projects, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.
• Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, construction) and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project documentation, including reports, change orders, and close-out documents.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture in Tembisa, Gauteng.
• Client liaison and stakeholder management to ensure expectations are met.
