Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a relevant trade certificate (e.g., NQF Level 3/4, Wireman's License).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high and low voltage equipment, VSDs, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
• Proven experience with preventative and predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., thermography, vibration analysis).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of relevant South African electrical safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of electricians and technicians in performing electrical maintenance tasks.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs for electrical equipment.
• Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical systems, including motors, generators, switchgear, control systems, and instrumentation.
