Placements24 seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of our Welkom facility. You will plan and execute preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical machinery and infrastructure, diagnosing faults and implementing timely repairs to minimize downtime.

The role requires a National Diploma or Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in industrial maintenance, and strong skills in PLCs, VSDs, schematics, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, and instrumentation.
• Experience with PLCs and VSDs.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
