Job summary

Syndicate Personnel Specialists is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to keep a busy manufacturing plant running. You will diagnose faults on electrical and instrumentation equipment, repair and restore production quickly, and work closely with operations and engineering teams on the plant floor.

The role requires 5+ years in an industrial environment, strong fault-finding skills, and familiarity with SANS standards and electrical regulations.

Qualifications

• N5 or National Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• A recognised Electrician Trade Test (preferred) or Instrumentation Mechanician Trade Test.
• At least 5 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and instrumentation fault-finding capabilities.
• Familiarity with SANS standards and relevant electrical regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose faults on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Repair and restore production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on the plant floor with operations and engineering colleagues.
• Collaborate with external specialists as needed to maintain reliability.
