Placements24 in East London is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Manager to lead all electrical installation activities on major projects across East London and surrounding areas. The role demands strong leadership, technical depth, and a track record of delivering complex installations on time and within budget.

You will manage site teams and subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, coordinate with clients and consultants, and drive quality from planning through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years in electrical construction/installation with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading large-scale projects in commercial/industrial/renewables.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution and control systems.
• Contract administration, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and closeout of electrical installations.
• Develop detailed project schedules and resource plans.
• Supervise site engineers, foremen, electricians, and subcontractors.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental regulations on site.
• Oversee procurement and delivery of electrical materials and equipment.
• Monitor progress, address deviations, and stay on schedule and budget.
• Conduct site inspections for quality and code compliance.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, consultants and stakeholders.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and shop drawings.
• Manage testing, commissioning and handover of installations.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain documentation.
