Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Design and implement electrical systems to meet project requirements.
• Integrate renewable energy technologies into engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, to achieve project goals.
• Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and system optimisation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Provide expert technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proven experience in managing and delivering electrical engineering projects.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations

Additional Desired Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with PV plant engineering design.
• Strong understanding of mechatronics principles.
• Knowledge of SANS 10142-1 and NRS 097.
