Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical engineering in industrial/mining or energy sectors preferred.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for mining equipment, power generation, and distribution networks.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical infrastructure and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of electrical systems for safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and diagnostic tools.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, motor controls, instrumentation, and PLCs.
• Experience with high and medium voltage systems is essential.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) registration preferred.
