Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical distribution networks.
• Proficiency with distribution network analysis software (e.g., DigSilent PowerFactory, CYME).
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or ECSA registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan upgrades for the low and medium voltage electrical distribution network.
• Perform load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and power quality studies.
• Develop technical specifications for new equipment and materials for the distribution system.
• Investigate and resolve distribution network faults and power quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams on network reliability improvements.
