Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the distribution networks in Kimberley. The role blends field work with office design and analysis, in a hybrid work setup.

You will design MV/LV distribution upgrades, perform network analyses, and ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards while coordinating with field crews and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years in distribution network design and operations.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, cables, and protection relays.
• Proficiency with network analysis software such as DigSILENT or CYME.
• Experience with network planning and asset management.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in the planning, design, and operational aspects of medium and low voltage distribution systems.
