Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical aspects of construction projects in Mahikeng. You will design, implement, and supervise electrical systems to meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with architects, project managers, and site engineers to deliver high-quality electrical installations for diverse developments in the North West province, with a focus on safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Pr Eng or Pr Eng Tech registration with ECSA.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards (SANS, IEC), and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and relevant simulation tools.
• Experience in project management and site supervision is essential for projects in Mahikeng.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and layouts for construction projects according to specifications and codes.
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical systems on construction sites.
