Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Design and Installation Engineer for East London. The role blends office-based electrical system design with on-site installation supervision across projects in the Eastern Cape region.

You will develop drawings, oversee installations, and ensure compliance with safety standards while coordinating with clients and contractors to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design and site installation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software.
• Solid understanding of electrical installation methods and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control circuits, adhering to project specifications.
• Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation using CAD software.
• Plan and manage the installation of electrical equipment and systems on project sites.
• Oversee site activities, ensuring work is performed safely, correctly, and in accordance with designs.
