Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead cross-functional electrical engineering projects in Mahikeng. You will drive initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, managing scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risks to ensure timely delivery. The role requires 10+ years in electrical engineering with 5+ years in PM, strong leadership, and stakeholder management.

Pr.Eng. is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale electrical projects.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of electrical engineering projects, from conception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget, and timelines.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of project teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure all projects are delivered in compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress, provide regular status reports to stakeholders, and manage client relationships.
• Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned for future projects.
