Job summary

Mass Staffing Projects in Cape Town is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in building services design. You will lead the technical design and coordination of electrical building services for diverse projects.

You will design LV distribution, LV panels, lighting, and outlet layouts, supervise installations, attend site meetings, and contribute to cost estimates and project documentation.

Qualifications

• BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the design of building services.

Responsibilities

• Technical design, engineering and coordination of all electrical building services including LV distribution & reticulation.
• LV Panel and distribution design.
• Light design for buildings.
• Power and socket outlet design.
• Supervision of project installation and contractors.
• Project administration including site meetings, payment certificates, and approval of technical submissions.
• Project finance including cost estimates and BOQs.
