About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to significant Infrastructure Projects in the Randburg area. This role involves the design and specification of electrical systems for a variety of infrastructure developments, including transportation networks, utilities, and public facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of these critical systems, working closely with project managers and other engineering disciplines. This hybrid role offers a mix of office-based design work and occasional site visits, providing a comprehensive project lifecycle experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for infrastructure projects, including power distribution, street lighting, traffic control systems, and substations.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, calculations, and specifications using CAD and relevant software.

Requirements

• Experience with low, medium, and high voltage systems in an infrastructure context.
